ANALYSIS

‘The Wine Song’ is full of musical gestures and ideas. As the title suggests, this song is representative of the notion of forgetting ones worries and living off wine instead.

The bass note is alternating between the 1st and 5th notes of the chord, illustrating the Oompah technique. The chord is a Dm chord, meaning the notes being alternated between are D and A.
